Prior to serving on the highest court of South Africa, Justice Richard J. 
Goldstone was the first chief prosecutor of the United Nations 
International Criminal Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda.
He also chaired the Independent International Commission on Kosovo and 
co-chaired the International Bar Association's Task Force on International 
Terrorism.
Now a visiting Professor at Harvard Law School, Goldstone also serves as 
Chancellor of the University of the Witwatersrand and a member of the board 
of its law school, where he received his law degree in 1962.
