An Oil Crisis Executive Simulation was orchestrated in DC yesterday. It 
paints a dire picture of what happens to the world economies when there is 
a disruption in oil production after some political instability in Nigeria 
triggers a domino effect with OPEC nations reducing production to make 
political gains. It was a catastrophic scenario, and made the post 9/11 
recession look like a bank holiday. It was sobering considering what 
tinderboxes some of these countries are; I had not realized how fragile 
this market was.
