PDA Sports Sailing Event (October 17th 2026)

[Blake Madruga]

Dear MIT Postdocs,

The PDA Sports Committee invites you this Saturday afternoon for Sailing and a BBQ at the MIT Sailing Pavilion! Whether you already have a sailing card or have never sailed at MIT before and want an introduction, we have you covered. This event is enabled by certified sailors who are willing to take their fellow postdocs out for a cruise! After meeting at the Pavilion at 12:45 p.m. this Saturday, October 17th, we will sail in groups using Tech Dinghys, 420s, and Catboats. Join us for BBQ on the Dock afterward!

Sign-ups<https://forms.gle/JdHPbTxR1YkqiRsd8> close this Thursday, and we will send confirmations to randomly selected individuals by Friday.

You can only attend after you've received and again acknowledged your confirmation.

If your plans change, please cancel in time to free spots for your fellow postdocs! We look forward to seeing you all!

Fair Winds and Following Seas,
Blake Madruga
On behalf of your MIT PDA Sports Committee
