PDA Sunset Cruise Waitlist

Hey Postdocs,

To quote the famous nautical thriller Jaws:

Dang.  We just sold out in 7 hours, you guys must really like boats.  Or sunsets.  Or you love the PDA (we're choosing to believe it's because you love the PDA).

In light of this massive demand, we're looking to capture some information from you in this form<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeOCd7kbKDTS5TtGbmuyfhHhR1ADyVxxk5MMza5lODxvv-6mA/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=113834599293607914556>:

Wait list.  I am sure that some of you will have to cancel in the weeks coming up to the event.  This waitlist will help us connect people who want to come with those who have tickets but no longer can.  We can facilitate connections and make sure the right tickets get sent to the right people, but we will not be offering refunds.  Please reach out to Jake (hoffmanj at mit.edu) if you're looking to get rid of your ticket and we can help.

  2.
We're going to inquire about getting a bigger boat.  At this point in time, all we know is that the company has access to bigger boats, not if they are free on the 16th, or how much it will cost.  So this is a big fat maybe on whether or not we can make this happen.  We'll also have to rework the math to figure out if it's even doable, so ticket prices may increase if we scale up.  As such we will be collecting information on how many people are still interested, and how much you would be willing to pay for a ticket.
