Each of the three two-hour workshops that comprise the certificate program will be held in person, and will be led by facilitators trained by the Center for Improving Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER).
Cohort groups will move through the program together, forming a community of mentors and thought partners. The program will begin the week of June 8, and each group will meet for 2 hours each week for 3 weeks.
During this program, participants will explore key concepts in mentoring pedagogy, including:
* Maintaining effective communication
* Aligning expectations between mentee and mentor
