Hallowe'en costume social this Thursday!

Dear Postdocs,

It's almost time for our Hallowe'en social!

This Thursday 30th October, the PDA is collaborating with MIT’s Euroclub to bring you a SPOOKY HALLOWE’EN COSTUME SOCIAL!

When: 30th October, 7-9pm
Where: The Muddy Charles pub
What to wear: Costumes are COMPULSORY!
What: Pizza, cold beverages, and fun with your fellow postdocs!
Who: Although the event is in collaboration with the Euroclub, all postdocs are welcome, European or not! (And all Euroclub members are welcome, postdoc or not!)

Put your best foot, paw or stump forward and come in your finest costumes. We will be giving out prizes for our best dressed attendees. Prizes include an MIT Tech cash voucher, a bucket of European sweets and chocolate, and MIT merchandise!

Please note, as our friends at the Muddy take identification very seriously, please ensure you adhere to the following guidelines so that you’ll be able to enter the venue:

  *   You need to bring both your MIT ID AND ID showing proof of your 21+ age.
  *   Your 21+ ID must either be a US-issued ID (e.g. a liquor card or a driver’s license) or your passport! (Don’t make the mistake many of us do and turn up with your international driver’s license as they won’t let you in, speaking from personal experience!)
  *   The muddy staff need to be able to identify your face, so please do not obscure your faces or make them unrecognisable (removable masks are fine).
  *   Overly large costumes which make it hard for people to navigate through the bar are also not allowed
