Happy October postdocs!

Hallowe’en is just over a week away, which can only mean one thing – it’s time to start putting together your costume!

Next Thursday 30th October, the PDA is collaborating with MIT’s Euroclub to bring you a SPOOKY HALLOWE’EN COSTUME SOCIAL!

We’ll be hanging out in scary attire in the Muddy Charles pub from 7-9pm, where we’ll be providing free snacks and refreshments! Although this is a collab with the Euroclub, all postdocs are welcome, European or not!

Costumes are COMPULSORY and prizes will be awarded for the best dressed.

ESSENTIAL INFO!!!
Please note, as our friends at the Muddy take identification very seriously, please ensure you adhere to the following guidelines so that you’ll be able to enter the venue (and have fun):

  * You need to bring both your MIT ID and ID showing proof of your 21+ age.
  * Your 21+ ID must either be a US-issued ID (e.g. a liquor card or a driver’s license) or your passport! (Don’t make the mistake many of us do and turn up with your international driver’s license as they won’t let you in, speaking from personal experience!)
  * The muddy staff need to be able to identify your face, so please do not obscure your faces or make them unrecognisable (removable masks are fine).
  * Overly large costumes which make it hard for people to navigate through the bar are also not allowed

Looking forward to seeing your spooky (and visible) faces there!

Best Wishes,
MIT PDA and MIT Euroclub
