Dear MIT Postdocs,

The deadline to register for the summer edition of the PDA buddy scheme is fast approaching! Fill out the form here to sign up before the end of Friday this week (6th June):

A reminder of what the scheme is all about:
The Buddy program, run by the MIT Postdoc Association (PDA) is designed to help postdocs build academically and mentally supportive communities, by grouping you with like-minded peers. Many of our postdocs who have previously taken part in the scheme have built long-term friendships with their groups – it really is a great way to connect with other people at MIT!

Based on the information you provide about yourself in the sign-up form, we will match you with 2-3 postdocs with similar preferences, who you can meet up with in one of two settings:

  *   The large group gathering will be a coffee meeting on campus (date TBD), where you can meet your buddy group. Note: you will still be matched with a small group at this event! The only difference is that other groups will also be meeting at the same place and time (and we will purchase the snacks and drinks for you)
  *   In a small group meetup, you will receive a gift card/reimbursement so you can meet your buddy group in your own time for coffee/tea.

Spring has well and truly sprung, and we hope you are feeling ready to come out of hibernation. The Buddy program, run by the MIT Postdoc Association (PDA) is designed to help postdocs build academically and mentally supportive communities, by grouping you with like-minded peers.

Fill out the google form below to tell us about yourself, and we will match you with 2-3 postdocs with similar preferences. For this chapter of the program, you can opt to either meet in a larger social gathering or small-group meetups:
