The Advocacy Committee is hosting Tom and Jim Arkell of the Arkell Immigration Team of Dunn Law Firm, LLP. The Arkell Immigration Team has decades of experience in filing successful applications for U.S. permanent residence (green cards) and will discuss U.S. immigration and employment options for international postdocs and graduate students. Info Session on the German Academic System
Sarah Young, a Science Policy Officer at the Max Planck Gesellschaft will be giving a talk about the German academic system. Topics will include German research institutions, German grants, how to get tenure, how contracts work, and any other questions you have.
