Dear Postdoctoral Scholars,
If you haven’t already answered MIT’s 2024 Quality of Life Survey, I encourage you to do so. The survey covers a number of important topics such as workload, stress, wellness, and departmental climate.
The survey is voluntary and confidential. Your department will not have access to individual responses. The results will be presented in aggregate in a way that protects the privacy of respondents. More information can be found in the survey FAQs<http://web.mit.edu/qol>.
MIT has used results from previous surveys to implement several important initiatives, such as the employee T pass benefit, expanded childcare on campus, and the increased number of lactation rooms. In addition, the MIT Postdoctoral Association uses the results to inform their advocacy efforts on behalf of postdocs. Every postdoc response can help make the community stronger. In addition, MIT will award 10 grand prizes (valued at $500 each) and 750 additional prizes (valued at $25 each) to randomly drawn survey participants.
To access the survey, please click on the link that was included in the invitation email from President Kornbluth that was sent on February 15. Another way to access it is to retrieve your unique link to the survey<https://mitresearch.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8IL7Hukfaz4suoe> using your MIT certificate.
Best regards,
Ann
