Lawn games and pizza & GetFit prizes: May 9th!


Dear MIT Postdocs,

Join us for an evening of fun, camaraderie, and relaxation to conclude the current semester and celebrate spring! We'll have an array of refreshments, including everyone's favorite—pizza! Engage in friendly competitions with lawn games and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. It's the perfect opportunity to reconnect with fellow postdocs, get to know the PDA officers representing you, make new connections, and kick-start the outdoor season. We will gather on May 9th, 2024, at 5:00 PM on the lawn outside Building E25 (see attached map for directions).


Participants of this year's GetFit challenge of teams organized through PDA can finally get to know their team mates and collect their prizes!

Nucleate Boston Demo Day


Nucleate Boston will be hosting Demo Day, a showcase of companies finishing the 7th iteration of the Nucleate Activator Program, on May 21st!



Nucleate is a global trainee run nonprofit that hosts the Activator program, an equity free program that supports companies aiming to tackle the biggest challenges in human health and sustainability, connecting scientific trainees and business students with a world-class advisor network of startup founders, executives, investors, and renowned scientists.



Demo Day is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the promising young companies in the Boston biotech ecosystem launched out of the Activator, in addition to networking with the Nucleate and Boston biotech communities.

Now accepting applications for the 2024 Michelson Prizes: Next Generation Grants.

Eligibility: We’re seeking applicants 35 and under who are deepening our understanding of human immunology and uncovering new approaches to combating diseases. All early-career investigators, post-docs, clinical fellows—including residents and interns—and other researchers in training are eligible to apply. International applicants are encouraged.
