The Postdoc Academy <https://www.postdocacademy.org/> team is excited to announce that registration for our second online course is now OPEN! The Postdoc Academy: Building Skills for a Successful Career is a self-paced 7-week course launching June 5th on edX and postdocs can register here <https://www.edx.org/course/the-postdoc-academy-building-skills-for-a-successful-career>.

This course helps postdocs build foundational professional skills to launch them into their desired career pathway. Themes and topics explored include:

Leadership
Building and Supervising a Team
Project Management (including tips on grant/budget management)
Applying Teaching Skills Beyond the Classroom
Strategic Communications (including how to craft & deliver an impactful elevator pitch)
Preparing Job Application Materials for Job Interviews

We will be offering two live discussions at different points in the course to engage and network with professionals from various fields - TBA closer to the start of the course.

The project will also offer PALS (Postdoc Academy Learning Sessions), which are synchronous, weekly meetings for participants to further discuss course content.
