Hi all,
This program was advertised on the Slack channel but not here. In case you missed it, applications are open for the Kaufman Teaching Certificate Program, with a deadline this Sunday, August 20. This is a competitive program, with slots for 35-40 postdocs each session. If you’ve applied previously and didn’t get in, please apply again! Details below.

Applications are now open for the Fall 2023 session of the Teaching + Learning Lab’s Kaufman Teaching Certificate Program. MIT postdocs and grad students interested in improving their teaching practice are encouraged to apply! Submit your applications here<https://mit.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3lVr8dqzxgSqz5Q>. Applications will close at 11:59 pm ET on Sunday, August 20. This engaging and interactive in-person workshop series is intended for those interested in careers in the academy and/or looking to develop skills to support their teaching at MIT. Upon completion of all workshops, associated homework assignments, and two microteaching sessions, participants will receive a certificate and letter of completion from Vice Chancellor Ian Waitz.
The application includes the following two short answer questions (with a 1500 character limit).
* If applicable, describe your upcoming teaching responsibilities.
* What are two teaching practices or skills you hope to learn by completing this program?
