Results of the MIT PDA officer elections

Dear MIT postdocs

first of all, we thank you all for voting during the 2023/2024 MIT PDA officer elections! 
We are happy to announce the new cohort of elected PDA officers for the coming year who will be taking over on September 1st, 2023. We are looking forward to the initiatives, connections, and events this new cohort will be pursuing. We are confident that they will generate opportunities to find your community and advance your career, and advocate on behalf of all postdocs at MIT!

During September, there will be an announcement to fill some currently vacant committees (Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary, IT Chair, Fundraising Chair, and Community Building Chair) which will be coordinated by the new cohort of officers.

Together with the new cohort, we will host a pizza & lawn games event at the end of August (tentative date is August 29th, 2023) to meet new people, provide information about the PDA, have a bite to eat, and play some fun games (corn hole, volleyball, spike ball, etc.) - so keep your eyes open for the official announcement!
