Dear Postdocs!

Happy Postdoctoral Appreciation Week! The MIT PDA and Boston PDA (BPDA) have some events planned towards the end of the week and news to announce!

First and foremost, we will hold the monthly PDA general meeting next Tuesday, September 27th at noon (12pm) in a hybrid format (in-person at E25-143 and on https://mit.zoom.us/j/2107649429 <https://mit.zoom.us/j/2107649429>).

The PDA is thrilled to announce that Prof. Dr. Muriel Médard <https://www.rle.mit.edu/ncrcg/> won the PDA Excellence in Postdoctoral Mentoring Award!! 
The race amongst the finalists was incredibly close, but statements from postdoctoral mentees on how Prof. Médard fosters an inclusive environment, supports postdocs in their career development and is committed to continuous guidance beyond the postdoctoral appointment at MIT were outstanding!

There is an event planned by the Boston PDA where we hope to meet many of you!

Friday 9/23 from 6 PM to 8 PM: The Boston PDA National Postdoc Appreciation Week Meetup at the Night Shift Owl’s Nest Esplanade 

We also have a few MIT career events happening in the near future:

Wednesday 9/28: MIT Fall Virtual Fair
