MIT Postdocs Slack Space
We are happy to announce that as part of the effort to create more efficient communication throughout our Postdocs community, we have created a Slack space on the MIT corporate Slack named MIT Postdocs<https://mit-postdocs.slack.com/>. We invite everyone to join us at this. This Slack space is meant to be a more efficient forum for all MIT Postdocs to interact and organize/attend events as well as communicate more efficiently. Call for Postdoc Initiative Grant (PInG) proposals​
Do you have an idea for an activity or event that you think would benefit postdocs in 2021? The MIT-PDA is pleased to announce a call for a second (spring) round of Postdoc Initiative Grant (PInG) proposals. The grant aims to financially support a range of activities, events, and projects. PInG activities should be open to all postdocs across MIT (e.g. an application cannot be made for a Biology lunch series). Example activities include but are not limited to Social gatherings, Recreational activities, Arts and cultural programs, Mental health, and stress support groups, professional development seminars and workshops, Groups to support postdoc women, parents, or minorities.https://pda.mit.edu/events/ping/. ​

The plan is to meet during the weekend, typically in the morning, at 77 Mass Ave for a warm-up and then we will go for a run around Charles river. All abilities are welcome. We will form groups ranging from beginners to experienced runners.​

Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship
The University of Angers is looking for  post-doctoral candidates in order to apply to the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships in Horizon Europe. Beneficiaries of this call of proposal will be trained (online training) and be funded for a two-day stay in Angers for meeting, training and support. ​The Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA) are among the flagship, most prestigious research fellowships in Europe, and are open to all the researchers who have completed a PhD or will complete it before September, 14th 2022 and who have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent experience in research.

Charles A. King Trust Clinical/Health Services Research Fellowship
This program is designed to support clinical or health services research scientists in the early- to mid-stages of their career conducting mentored research training that focuses on the causes of human disease with the mission of improving its treatment. Clinical and Health Services research funded by this program support human studies including physiological research, behavioral science and health education research, translational research (the application of bench research to patient care), epidemiological research, health policy, outcomes research, and population health, regardless of specialty or discipline.
Award amount: $111,520 to $130,072 over 2 years, for stipend only. Award amount is based on the number of years of completed full-time postdoctoral experience, as of the funding start date of October 1, 2022.
