Future Faculty Workshop on July 27-28, 2022

MIT postdoctoral scholars are invited to attend the upcoming New England Future Faculty Workshop, presented by Northeastern University in partnership with Harvard Medical School. This year’s virtual workshop will be held on July 27th and 28th and prepares participants for entry into the academic job market through sessions on finding their institutional fit, developing research, teaching, and diversity statements, honing interview and negotiation skills, time management, and planning their first year as faculty. 



The workshop was created to serve members of groups whose representation in faculty positions is smaller than their representation in the U.S. population. This includes women, racial and ethnic minorities, persons with disabilities, first-generation students, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
