IAP K-pop Class
Korean pop music, or K-Pop, has taken the world by storm in the past few years — from “Gangnam Style” by PSY in 2012, all the way to “Dynamite” by boy group BTS last year. As this genre has proven to appeal to a diverse audience, we aim to explore K-Pop’s impact on a global scale. This non-credit class will be held twice a week, and will be centered around guest artists, producers, songwriters, and other key people from the K-Pop industry who can share their expertise with the MIT community. It will be held virtually in an interactive discussion and Q&A format.
