Dear MIT Postdocs,
MIT- POWER, Postdoctoral Organization for Women Engaged in Research, would like to inform you about two recurring social events for women postdocs at MIT:
Coffee Club - we take a break from work and meet for coffee at 10am the third Thursday of every month. Next POWER coffee club is the 23rd of September on the steps of the STATA ‘amphitheater’. To receive information and reminders about the future coffee clubs join the POWER mailing list <https://mailman.mit.edu:444/mailman/listinfo/power-postdocs>.
After-Work - on the 8th of every month (in honor of the International Women's Day) we pick a bar and meet for a drink after work, to make new friends and reconnect with old. The next POWER after-work is 6.00pm the 8th of October at Miracle of Science, to learn about the time and place for future after-work events join the POWER mailing list <https://mailman.mit.edu:444/mailman/listinfo/power-postdocs>.
You are welcome to join us just once or every month! POWER Coffee Club and After-Work are events created to give you an opportunity to network with other women Postdocs at MIT, to gather strength, and share everyday experiences with your fellow postdocs.
