Dear Postdoctoral Scholars,
If you have been wanting to get more involved with the MIT community outside your lab or department, please consider joining the MIT Postdoctoral Association (PDA) as an officer. A number of leadership positions are open for the 2021-2022 academic year, and it’s not too late to nominate yourself for a position. Officer positions in the PDA allow postdocs to help shape the postdoctoral experience at MIT, and enhance your professional/leadership experience. Nominations close tonight at 11:59pm, and the election opens tomorrow.
You can access the nomination form HERE<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1uQqHeUnNqDTqj-cTlXTM5sD8b76GFST4F2guZYKhNcY/edit>.*
Please refer to the MIT PDA By-laws for a description of the positions HERE<https://drive.google.com/file/d/10F_mgZczjSjVI5khPjhVF9y09bGxLgTI/view>.
If you have questions about this process, please email contactpda at mit.edu<mailto:contactpda at mit.edu>.
*Each postdoc may be nominated for one position only.
Best regards,
Ann
