Deadlines approaching: Childcare subsidy, Professional Development Fund for Spouses & Partners

Dear Postdoctoral Scholars,

Two resources that support postdocs have deadlines that are approaching.

  1.  Applications for the 2020 Childcare Supplement are due by December 31, 2020. Postdoctoral scholars may request this one-time nontaxable $2,000 subsidy for each dependent child, up to a maximum of three children per household. Details here<https://hr.mit.edu/covid19/childcare-subsidy>.
  2.  The MIT Spouses & Partners Professional Development Fund applications are due by November 15, 2020. This fund reimburses eligible applicants up to $500 for activities related to career advancement and development. Details here<http://spouses.mit.edu/professional-development-fund>. An information session<http://bit.ly/mspcpdf> for potential applicants will take place on Monday, November 2nd.
