Important info- Make the Leap Consulting 101

Dear Postdocs,


Many of you know the situation around COVID-19 in the U.S. is evolving. As of this evening (March 5th, 2020), there are no known/reported cases of the virus at MIT, however, we do ask that you take precaution tomorrow at the Consulting 101 event. Here are a few pointers as a result of this evolving situation:


1) If you feel sick or are experiencing flu like symptoms then we ask that you avoid coming to this event, we will have many more consulting related events later in the year

2) We have moved from pizza to individual sandwich boxes as a safety measure (feel free to take one till they run out)

3) We plan to have the panel discussion with the consultants tomorrow but might have to alter plans for the networking event after the discussion. Our moderator (Yen-Ting) will give further instructions on the networking event before the session starts

4) We should have a few hand sanitizers at the entrance, feel free to use them


Finally, we look forward to your participation at our Make the Leap Consulting 101 session tomorrow.
