Following up on #ShutdownAcademia

Hello MIT Postdocs,

The Postdoc Association's DE&I Committee will be holding a meeting Monday, June 15th at 3:00 as a follow up to many of the activities held across MIT Wednesday for #ShutdownAcademia<https://www.shutdownstem.com>.

We would like to provide a space to share the best ideas across departments towards lasting action on anti-racism, and the promotion of diversity and inclusion for postdocs at MIT. During this meeting, we hope to sort specific actions in the short, mid and long term, identify key stakeholders and current resources, and consolidate inter-departmental partnerships to chart a clear course of action that the PDA can help facilitate.

All postdocs are welcome to attend! We strongly encourage an active participation and invite you to bring a concrete list of actions that you think will trigger change. Keep in mind that the PDA works across all departments.
