SOCIAL EVENTS – stay connected to the postdoc community and MIT
June newsletter<https://mailchi.mp/7a1db01dc6b8/bpda-check-in> from the Boston Postdoctoral Association (BPDA)
The Post-doc Diversity Equity & Inclusion committee is putting together an DEI-oriented book club, as an opportunity to educate yourself, read, meet fellow postdocs, and share thoughts. The book club will meet once monthly, and members will choose a fiction book they’d like to read each month related to DEI issues; e.g., the first book we’d like to start with is The Nickel Boys<https://bookshop.org/books/the-nickel-boys-winner-2020-pulitzer-prize-for-fiction/9780385537070>. The day and time of the book club will be determined once we know who would like to be in the group.
To that end, if you are interested, could you please fill out this brief survey by Monday, July 13:
