Scientific Powerpoint Karaoke Competition

Friday, May 17, 12-1pm (right before the Vendor Fair)

Watch your fellow MIT Postdocs try to present research they know nothing about at the second annual MIT PDA Science Karaoke Competition! Sponsored by the De Florez Fund for Humor.

Each participant has provided a short (about 5-10 min) Powerpoint presentation which she or he has presented at a conference or seminar. The slide decks are shuffled around and the presenters have to improvise a totally unknown presentation. Thus, it is standup science comedy – with real science!
The talks will be judged by a panel jury, and the best talks selected by the jury and the audience will get an Amazon gift card.

Join us at the PDA Vendor Fair immediately afterwards for free food and drinks!
