Winter Family Day
Sunday, March 3, 11am - 3pm
Due to snowy weather in the forecast for tomorrow, we're moving this
event to Sunday, March 3. We hope to see you there!
Bundle up and join us for a Winter Family Day on MIT's campus! Enjoy
outdoor and indoor activities for the whole family. Make art and build
creatively, warm up with dance, and have fun with games, playful demos,
and more.
Collaborators and presenters include:
Community Art Center a neighborhood institution, cultivating an engaged
community of youth
Alexander Hattori MIT senior in Mechanical Engineering and six-time
national yo-yo champion
Peter DiMuro/Public Displays of Motion with friends from The Dance
Complex Community
Learning Beautiful hands-on computer science - unstructured play,
exploration, and tangible toys
Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research MIT scientists and
engineers working together to fight cancer
MIT Curling Club a MIT club sport that... well... goes curling!
Free and open to the public; all children must be accompanied by an
adult. Location: North Court (near the corner of Ames and Main) and
Koch Institute (500 Main Street). No registration necessary. For more
