Did you receive your PhD in life sciences within the past two years? If so, consider applying for the

Science & SciLifeLab Prize for Young Scientists

The prize is awarded annually to four researchers (who have received their PhD within the last two years). The winners are published by Science, receive up to 30,000 USD and are invited to Sweden for a unique week of events in the honor of science, where they attend the Prize ceremony and have the chance to meet leading researchers in their fields.

Researchers who have been awarded their doctoral degree in 2017 or 2018 and have produced a PhD thesis within one of the these fields are eligible to apply:

  *   Cell and Molecular Biology
  * Genomics, Proteomics and Systems Biology
  *   Ecology and Environment
  *   Molecular Medicine

Applicants apply by submitting a 1000-word essay about their PhD thesis, that is judged by an independent editorial team organized by Science. The application deadline for this year’s Prize is July 15. More information can be found on: https://scienceprize.scilifelab.se/ and https://www.sciencemag.org/prizes/science-scilifelab-prize-young-scientists.
