Nomination Open: MIT PDA Elections

Dear MIT Postdocs,

We will be conducting the MIT PDA elections for the 2019-2020 leadership team from August 14, 2019 to August 19, 2019.

The following leadership positions are open for MIT Postdoctoral Associates and Fellows (details below):

President*
Vice President
Treasurer
Corresponding Secretary
Recording Secretary
Chair of each Standing Committee: Advocacy, Professional Development, Community Building and Outreach, Alumni, Fundraising, Human Affairs, Information Flow & IT Support, Orientation, and Sports

A comprehensive list of roles and responsibilities for each position are available in the MIT PDA bylaws<https://pda.mit.edu/about/who-are-we/> under the Constitution and Bylaws section.

The nomination period starts today and will continue till August 11th, 2019 4:00PM.

Please note that you can nominate yourself for a maximum of 2 positions.

All information submitted in the nomination form will be made public and shared with the MIT Postdoc community.

Eligibility to stand in the elections

*President: To be eligible for the position of President, any MIT Postdoc Associate or MIT Postdoc Fellow must have previously served as an MIT PDA officer for a minimum of 60 days or have attended a minimum of one third of all PDA monthly meetings within a 12 month period immediately preceding the elections.

All other positions (open to any current MIT Postdoc Associate or MIT Postdoc Fellow)
