Sign up to participate in the second annual MIT Postdoc Association Powerpoint Karaoke Contest



Who should sign up?
We are looking for MIT Postdocs who are passionate about research and would like to learn how to present unfamiliar topics in an appealing and funny way!

How do I participate?
To participate, provide a short (about 10 min) presentation about your research, which you might have used at a conference, seminar or meeting. The slide decks will be shuffled among all participants on the day of the contest and you will have to present an unknown presentation.

What's in it for me?
You'll get a chance to practice your communication skills in a prep session, and will improve your ability to think on your feet and use humor to communicate science, both invaluable skills for talking about your work to different audiences. Also, the winner will be decided by a panel of judges and will receive an Amazon gift card!

Date and Time: May 17, 12-1pm

Location: Stata Center (Room 32-124)
