Sept 20: Overcoming Stereotypes in Interviewing and Industry<https://calendar.mit.edu/event/overcoming_stereotypes_in_interviewing_and_industry>. 2 pm. Location: 4-149. Hear from industry professionals on how to navigate stereotypes during the interview process and throughout your career. Abstract: For teams trying to adopt Agile practices, there are often great challenges around how to prioritize a single backlog, how to improve software quality, and how to reduce support costs. The opportunity to do this well comes from taking a data-driven approach to decision-making. To help Agile teams improve their processes, Jubin will demonstrate how to apply machine learning techniques to obtain insights from the petabytes of logs that applications produce. Jubin not only build on work from the world of DNA sequencing, but also Lean & eXtreme Programming techniques to help teams produce the great product(s) you have always wanted.
