Dear MIT Graduate Students and MIT Postdocs:
The Teaching + Learning Lab is accepting applications<https://mit.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3wO1dTxzIWBWO4R> for the Spring 2019 Kaufman Teaching Certificate Program (KTCP).
This engaging and interactive workshop series is intended for students interested in developing skills to support their teaching at MIT and for students who are planning careers in the academy. To earn a Certificate, participants must complete<https://tll.mit.edu/help/requirements> eight classroom workshops, all homework assignments, and two microteaching sessions.
The Spring Program of eight workshops<https://tll.mit.edu/help/workshop-descriptions> will run from Monday, February 4, through Friday, May 3, with Sections currently scheduled for Monday mornings, Tuesday mornings, Tuesday afternoons, Wednesday mornings, Thursday mornings, and Friday mornings. A Thursday afternoon Section will be held specifically for students in non-science/non-engineering departments.
The online application<https://mit.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3wO1dTxzIWBWO4R> will remain open through 11:59 pm on Monday, December 10.
Space is limited, so be sure to apply during this open application period. Students admitted to the Spring 2019 Program will be notified by email by Wednesday, December 19.
