About the special guest:
Dr. Deblina Sarkar is joining MIT as an Assistant Professor in 2019. Her new Nano-Cybernetic Biotrek lab aims to fuse nanoelectronics, applied physics, and biology. She is the recipient of 2018 Technology Review's list of India's Top 10 Innovators Under 35, the NIH K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award, and the 2017 MIT Translational Fellowship. Her Ph.D. dissertation is among the top 3 dissertations throughout USA and Canada in the field of Mathematics, Physical sciences and all departments of Engineering by the Council of Graduate Schools in the period 2014-2016. She also gave an invited TEDx talk in 2016. Interested in learning more about her unique postdoc experiences at MIT and how she manage conflicts? Come and mingle with her at the social hour!
