*Reminder-Monday deadline*
[This message is going out to all postdocs. If you are one of the postdocs who has already applied, thank you!]

Dear MIT Postdocs,

If you are passionate about your research, eager to have a voice on some of the decisions that get made behind the scenes, and excited about interacting with people outside your usual MIT realm, one of these opportunities may be right for you. Participating on Institute Committees is a great way to engage in service activities and represent the postdoc community at the university level.
Each of the Institute Committees<https://facultygovernance.mit.edu/committees-and-councils> listed below is looking for one postdoctoral scholar to join their meetings and efforts for the coming academic year. These are all “Standing Institute Committees Appointed by the President.”

Community Service Fund Board<https://facultygovernance.mit.edu/committee/community-service-fund-board>

Committee on Intellectual Property <https://facultygovernance.mit.edu/committee/committee-intellectual-property>

Committee on Radiation Protection<https://facultygovernance.mit.edu/committee/committee-radiation-protection>

Committee on Toxic Chemicals <https://facultygovernance.mit.edu/committee/committee-toxic-chemicals>

Committee on the Use of Humans as Experimental Subjects (COUHES)<https://facultygovernance.mit.edu/committee/committee-use-humans-experimental-subjects>

If you are interested in being considered, please apply here<https://form.jotform.com/82113714816150> by noon Monday, August 6. MIT faculty committee chairs will review the applications. All candidates will be notified of the outcome of their application. Successful applicants will receive an official appointment letter from the MIT Office of the President.

We will let you know when other openings arise.

Sincerely,

Dana
