Beyond Academics: PhD Career Options Panel
Hosted by the MIT Graduate Student Council (GSC), Global Education & Career Development Career Services (GECD), and the MIT Office of the Vice President for Research (VPR)
This panel will help PhDs and postdocs learn more about career options outside of being a professor. Panelists represent employers who hire PhDs and also alumni (including former MIT postdocs) who have navigated this process. Panelists represent a range of career paths. This discussion will also enhance understanding about the culture of various organizations that hire PhDs and postdocs. Free food will be provided.
