Have you ever wondered what your advisor was like as a graduate student? What they struggled with? What they are struggling with now? This conversation series is not about science, but about becoming and being a scientist. How do you deal with your own and others' expectations, and with impostor syndrome? How do you keep yourself motivated? Prof. Gigliola Staffilani (MIT Math) will share her personal stories and invite you to join the conversation. Pizza will be provided following the event.
