*On behalf of the MIT Graduate Student Council....*

Dear post-doctoral researcher,

I am writing on behalf of MIT Career Services and the Graduate Student
Council of MIT. We are organizing a panel called “Finding a Good Postdoc”,
and we cordially invite you to serve as one of our panelists.

The goal of this panel is to establish a two-way conversation between MIT
graduate students and the panelists. The conversation will tremendously
help our students explore the decision-making process of pursuing
post-doctoral positions, effective post-doc search strategies, and
post-postdoc employment options. At the same time, we firmly believe that
this panel will also let you meet some of the brightest rising academics
among the MIT grad students. No preparation is needed.

The panel will take place on Wednesday, August 16th, 2:30pm-4:00pm, in room
10-250. Please kindly let us know if you would be able to come and speak to
our students.

On behalf of GSC, we appreciate anytime you may give. Should you have
further questions, please also do not hesitate to contact us at
gsc-arc at mit.edu. We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,
Richard and Pat, 2017-2018 Chairs of the Committee on Academics, Research,
and Career (ARC), GSC
