Subject: Trying to recruit post docs for a research study

Hey there,

I am a recent graduate of MIT Sloan and a post doc myself (at Rice University). Me and my team are in town this week trying to recruit for a study we are doing. Is there any way you could forward this to the post-doc list? It would be amazingly helpful.

Study Info:

Researchers from the MIT Innovation Initiative and Rice University Entrepreneurship Initiative are conducting a study at MIT exploring how early-stage scientists respond to choices under risk and uncertainty. Your participation in this project will help us understand more about how variables like risk and uncertainty affect choices such as career paths and research choices in the sciences.

Participants are paid for participation, and have a chance to earn further payments based off the choices they select during the experiment. Participation takes a total of 30 minutes.

Interested PhD students, post docs and early career faculty can sign up to participate at the following link (feel free to forward to anyone that might be interested):
http://danielfehder.com/ambiguity-experiment/
The research team will share the results with interested participants.

This project has been IRB approved, and details regarding the researchers can be found at
https://innovation.mit.edu/research-policy/lab-innovation-science-policy/affiliates/.

We will be conducting the study on the MIT campus at the Innovation Initiative offices (E70, floor 12) during the week of April 24th through 29th. If you have 30-40 minutes available this week, we would be grateful if you would assist in our study by scheduling a time to participate in the experiment below or forwarding to any potentially interested PhD students or post docs. Remember, you will get paid for your time, and have a shot at winning more significant sums of money. Plus you will be helping science.

Best,

Dan Fehder and Research Team
