Dear POWER Community,

The Graduate Women at MIT (GWAMIT) in partnership with the Postdoc
Organization for Women Engaged in Research (POWER) and Black Graduate
Student Organization (BGSA) cordially invite you to the annual Spring
Empowerment Conference next week, *April 10-13th*. The theme this year is
"Be Bold. Be Heard.”

POWER is co-sponsoring the Solo Travel 101 Panel on Monday April 10,
11am-1pm, W20-307.

The panelists will speak on how to choose a destination, which regions are
great for solo female travelers, best resources for flights, housing
and activities, how to find adventures off the beaten path while staying
(reasonably) safe, fun activities on your own, how to make friends or find
a community abroad, and more. Come with all of your solo travel questions!
