Brought to you by MIT Global Education & Career Development and the 
Office of the Vice President for Research

Do you ever find yourself wondering:

“What do I really want out of my PhD or postdoc and future jobs?"

“What do I want out of a career?”

“How do I even go about networking and making external connections?

If you have answered YES to any of the above questions, you might be a 
good candidate for the Career Planning For PhDs and Postdocs program.

In these four 2-hour group sessions, we will cover essential career 
planning competencies such as self-assessment, communication, and 
networking. You will explore the skills, interests and values you want 
to use in your work and expand your knowledge of relevant resources and 
tools that will help you when you are seeking full-time employment.

*Application Procedure*:

We are limited to 20 slots due to the nature of the program content.

Participants must be able to attend all four sessions on October 20, 27; 
November 3 and 10 from 10:00 – noon.
