welcoming speech, followed by a meet-and-greet session from the chairs.
We'll be announcing upcoming social and professional events at the meeting.
We are part of the MIT Postdoctoral Association (PDA) <http://pda.mit.edu/>
and this event is supported by a Postdoc Initiative Grant (PInG) from the
PDA.

specific to women who want to pursue advanced careers in science and
