Hi there MIT Postdocs,

The holidays are upon us, and, as we reflect on the people and things that have made our lives special in the past year, let us take the opportunity to give back to the community around us. Last year MIT provided over 700 gifts <https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=819199764790346> to local children and families through the MIT Giving Tree, and 175 of them were from us postdocs. This year, please help us to carry on the tradition of helping those around us have a magical holiday season!

The Giving Tree<http://web.mit.edu/mitpsc/whatwedo/volunteering/programs/givingtree/getinvolved.html> has put together an initial list of gifts that local underprivileged children and their families have requested: MIT Postdoc Giving Tree Wishlist<https://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/2BYY7DOEAM81O/ref=cm_sw_su_w>. These gifts are mostly under $25. When this first list is fully purchased, we will send out another list with more gift requests. The gifts can be purchased off the Amazon website (no gift wrap please) and sent to:

MIT PKG Public Service Center
77 Massachusetts Avenue
Building 4 - Room 104
Cambridge, MA 02139

Thank you for your support and hope you enjoy the most wonderful time of the year<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73UqDX_quk0>,
