Upcoming PDA Community Building Events, including an outdoor social Thursday, May 7

Hi there Postdocs!

We have a lot of exciting events coming up in the next couple of months, starting with an outdoor social hour this Thursday! Please join us for some or all as we get a chance to enjoy the sun after the long, snowy winter.

Thursday, May 7: Spring into Summer Outdoor Social Hour at Firebrand Saints starting at 5:30pm! Tasty refreshments provided. 21+ID required. We know it's short notice, but it's going to be 75°F!

Friday, May 15: Kick-off event for our new PDA Get Out Committee! Come to Barry Field in the evening for Field Day Events, some pick-up sports, and to find out about/ suggest some upcoming outings like hiking or beach trips. More details coming soon.

Thursday, May 21: Joint Postdoc Seminar with Harvard! Two MIT postdocs and two Harvard postdocs are presenting their research. Afterwards, we'll have an opportunity get to know our compadres at Harvard during a joint social hour. More details coming soon.

Early June: Postdoc Sailing Night! Details coming soon, but start looking forward to a night on the Charles!
