Dear Postdocs,
Thanks to the Vice President for Research, Professor Maria Zuber, we are being given an opportunity to influence the way research is done at MIT.
Are you not only passionate about the research you do, but also about how research in general is conducted at MIT? Do you often wish you had a voice on important topics, including the MIT research environment, safety, and other issues? If yes, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!
The following MIT Presidential Committees<http://web.mit.edu/committees/president/> are each looking for one postdoc to join their meetings and efforts, and directly make a difference at MIT:
Committee on Intellectual Property
Committee on Toxic Chemicals
Committee on the Use of Humans as Experimental Subjects (COUHES)
If selected, you will also get to interact with MIT staff that you otherwise wouldn't, make new connections, and broaden your horizons.
If you are interested in being considered for this opportunity, please apply here<http://form.jotform.us/form/41956483946167> by Wednesday, September 17th, 2014. All applications will be directly received and reviewed by Professor Zuber (and committee chairs, where applicable), and members are appointed by the President of MIT.
There are other MIT committees with postdocs already in place, and we will let you know when other opportunities arise.
Kind regards,
Sara
- PDA President
