Dear MIT Postdocs,

If you are looking for housing, there are sometimes options for postdocs
on campus. Openings may occur throughout the year, in any month, but a
new wait list will open on December 8 for the upcoming term (January 5
onwards). Generally there are more openings for the spring term than
there are in the fall. Typically, openings are for single postdocs or
couples, and not for families.

In addition, short-term/temporary on-campus housing may be available in
the summer months and in the January IAP term.

*Note that you will need an MIT web certificate*.

*The information below is adapted from information received from the
Graduate Housing Assignments Coordinator**_. Please address any
questions to_**graduatehousing at mit.edu <mailto:graduatehousing at mit.edu>*__

If you are interested in on-campus housing for spring 2015 (offers begin
on Jan. 5), you can apply to the Graduate Housing Waiting List starting

You will need an MIT web certificate to access the waiting list
application, the sublicense listings, and the off-campus listings.
Please contact your department to arrange for this. If you cannot get an
MIT web certificate until you arrive, you can arrange for temporary
off-campus housing for one week and then arrange for long-term housing
when you arrive.
