*Boutique Consulting Meet Up*

Join GECD for its first Boutique Consulting Meet Up, a casual and 
informational event for students to mingle with professionals from 
several local boutique consulting firms. Meet MIT alumni and other 
representatives from these companies, learn about their work, their 
culture, and about potential career paths. Some of the firms attending 
include Canback & Company, Trinity Partners, Clearview Healthcare 
Partners, and Stroud International. Light refreshments will be served.

*Negotiating Job Offers*

*Wednesday, Nov 5, 2:00 pm -- 3:30pm*

The Negotiating Job Offers workshop presented by Bob Dolan will examine 
the many variables that exist during the evaluation and negotiation 
process of Job Offers. Knowing how, when and why you should negotiate 
will be reviewed. Salary vs. Total Compensation will be examined. 
Strategies on the negotiation process will be discussed along with 
"Should You Negotiate" and "What Can" and "What Can Not" be negotiated. 
These strategies can be used throughout your career. All GECD events are 
open to MIT undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, and alumni.
