Networking Mixer and Playing Pool with Local VCs and MIT Postdocs

Dear postdocs,

The Postdoctoral Association (PDA) and the New England Venture Network (NEVN) are co-organizing an informal mixer event to connect MIT postdocs with young venture capital investors in the Boston area. It will be a great opportunity to learn more about venture capital investment, what they look for in a project and to network around them if you are interested in entrepreneurship and VCs! Also, be prepared to talk about your work while protecting your intellectual property (check these videos on IP protection - http://odge.mit.edu/development/prodepot/#%2128990-i-think-i-just-invented-something-now-what-part-1).

Time:  Thursday, June 26, 2014, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EDT)

Beer and finger food will be served.  Please bring your 21+ ID. A couple of pool tables will also be reserved for a fun game time. Space is limited to 50 postdocs. Please register ASAP:
