On behalf of SACNAS:

The Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) is an national organization dedicated to advancing underrepresented students and professionals in science. MIT is starting a local chapter, and we are inviting everyone to join our efforts in getting our chapter started strong!

Please mark your calendars: Our first SACNAS meeting will be Monday January 20th from 6-7pm in room 66-319. Everyone is welcome, and we will provide dinner.

There are many opportunities for leadership, professional development, and presenting your work at national conferences within a local SACNAS organization, such as a local SACNAS-MIT chapter. If you want to be a part of the SACNAS community at MIT, please join our first meeting and share your ideas!
