Dear MIT Postdocs,

I have received the following message from Elizabeth Choe, Program
Coordinator, MIT+K12 Videos, in the Office of Digital Learning:
**
The MIT+K12 Videos Program is producing a webseries this spring, written
and hosted by MIT students who are excited about sharing their passion
for science/technology/engineering/math with K12 students (and learners
of all ages) all around the world.

We are currently looking for postdocs who would be interested in
reviewing scripts on the following topics for content accuracy:
>
> - Bio: adaptive immunology (pathogens and the basics of the immune system)
> - Physics: photonic crystals and the concept of iridescence
> - Physics/EAPS: transiting exoplanets and satellites
> - Mat. Sci: crystals in food, microscopy
> - Math: The basics concepts behind dimensions
> - Neuroscience/Physics: How our eyes see in 3D
> - Mat. Sci.: Making carbon nanotubes
>
> As far as the commitment goes, postdocs will be reviewing a couple
> iterations of the student's script for content accuracy (and if they
> want to give feedback on clarity or style, they can do that as well,
> but it's not required) anytime *between now and January 20th* (which
> is very soon, and I am sorry about that!). Some other folks on our
> staff will work with the students on engagement and entertainment
> factors in the script.
>
> Interested postdocs should directly contact me if they would like to
> participate or have any questions. Because of our new model, we need
> far fewer postdocs to help us out.
