Wolf Greenfield: MIT info sessions Oct 1 & 2

Dear MIT Postdocs,


Bob Dolan, MIT Career Counselor for Postdoctoral Scholars, recently met 
with representatives of Wolf Greenfield, a law firm that specializes in 
patent law and intellectual property.  He reports that they also have a 
strong MIT presence and hire many MIT scientist and engineers.  Please 
see below for information about two sessions they will host at MIT for 
MIT graduate students and postdocs. One is a general info session that 
all disciplines can attend, and the other is specifically for the 
Chemical, Chemical Engineering, and Materials Science students/postdocs.

        _General Info Session_

        Date: 10/1/13

        Time:  5:30 -- 7:00

        Where: Stata, 32-124


        Ling Cheung Hughes, former post-doc at MIT, will co-present with
        James Morris, one of Wolf Greenfield's Shareholders in the
        Electrical & Computer Technologies (ECT) group. James will focus
        on the tech spec position and the firm. Ling is very involved in
        the hiring for the ECT group and is a recent graduate from the
        Tech Spec program.

        _Chemical Info Session_

        Date: 10/2/13

        Time: 5:00 -- 7:30

        Where: 66-110


        Karen Martin and Brandon Blackwell are both Ph.D. graduates of
        MIT. Karen holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, and Brandon holds
        a M.S. in Chemical Engineering Practice and a Ph.D. in Chemical
        Engineering.
