Applications for the January 2014 session are due November 11

Jake Klamka, Founder of Insight Data Science, will be leading a discussion and Q+A on careers in data science on Friday, November 1 at 3:30pm in room 32-144 in the Stata Center, hosted by the MIT Graduate Student Council.

Silicon Valley technology companies are hiring data scientists to help them glean insights from the terabytes of data that they collect everyday. The Insight Data Science Fellows Program<http://insightdatascience.com/> is a training fellowship for graduate students and postdocs designed to bridge the gap between academia and a career in data science.

Insight highlights:
  *   6 week, full-time, postdoctoral data science training fellowship in Mountain View, CA.
